DR. Mike Atwood, DDS
I grew up the sixth of seven children in the small town of Cardston, in Southern Alberta. My wife, Melissa, and I now have three children of our own, and together we moved to Medicine Hat in the summer of 2019 where we have received a very warm welcome from this amazing community. I had a previous career as a graphic designer and still love to dabble in the fine arts with sketching and oil painting. When I'm not at the clinic, my family and I also enjoy most sports and outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, camping, and fishing.
I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta, in Edmonton. Prior to becoming the primary general dentist at Vista Dental, I worked as an associate at a clinic in Lethbridge and in my home town of Cardston. I have a strong focus on preventative dentistry and patient education. I am excited to be working with an amazing team at Vista Dental, and look forward to helping you and your family obtain the healthy, happy smiles you deserve!
DR. Brad Anderson, DMD
I was born in Phoenix, Arizona to two Canadian parents, and I’m the second of four children. While completing my bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Brigham Young University, Provo, I met my wife Cassidy. We now have two children, Willow and Jensen. I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. My family and I moved to Medicine Hat in the summer of 2020 to begin my associateship with Vista Dental.
Aside from dentistry, I enjoy spending my time with my family in the good old Southern Alberta country. We enjoy fishing, quadding, boating, and finding beautiful trails to explore. I have a firm belief in treating every patient like they’re my family and making sure they understand their treatment and have their questions answered every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your smile goals!
